About the Artist
Laura Scorey is a mother of 3 young children, so life is filled with happiness, laughter, and total chaos!! Her children inspire a lot of her art, as does fashion, art, photography, nature, and beauty- finding light and dark in all things.
“ I love painting and the process that it is to create a work of art. I have always been scared to share my artwork, thinking it’s not perfect enough for other people, but I am learning to let go of the ideal of perfection. Art is subjective; it is what you believe art can be. If can I can bring joy to just one person through my artwork, I will be fulfilled.”
